Terms of Service

These are the terms you agree to when you use Ritora. Ritora is an app that helps you build a calmer skincare routine using the products you already own. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Ritora.

You need to be 16 or over to use Ritora. You also need to give us accurate information about yourself. If we find out you lied, or that you are under 16, we will close the account.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account. If you think someone else has got in, tell us straight away at support@getritora.com.

Ritora is a decision support tool for your skincare routine. It is not a medical device, not a doctor, and not a diagnosis. The suggestions you get inside the app are help, not advice.

If your skin is reacting badly, please see a dermatologist or a pharmacist. Anything Ritora tells you, you can change, ignore, or override.

The photos you upload, the answers you give about your skin, and the routine you build are yours. You keep ownership of them.

You give Ritora the limited permission it needs to store your content, process it, and show it back to you in the app. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

A few things you must not do when using Ritora.

• Pretend to be someone else, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
• Try to scrape, copy, or republish other users' content.
• Try to break into the app, reverse engineer it, or test it for vulnerabilities without our written permission.
• Use the app for anything illegal, for anything that targets a specific person, or for anything that exposes a minor to content that is not for them.
• Post content that harasses, threatens, or harms another person, or that promotes illegal activity.
• Resell or rent out access to the app.

If you do any of these things we may suspend or close your account without notice.

Ritora is free to use today. If we ever add a paid plan we will tell you before it affects you, and we will not turn off anything you already rely on without giving you fair notice.

You can delete your account from inside the app whenever you want. After a 30 day grace period in case you change your mind, everything goes.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we believe you are abusing the service, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why.

We work hard to make Ritora useful, but we cannot promise it will always work, always be available, or always be free of bugs. The app is provided as it is. That is the same deal you get from most online services.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profits, or anything that happens to your skin because of a Ritora suggestion. Use your own judgement, and ask a real doctor when you are worried.

If we are held responsible for something despite the rest of this section, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose. Today that amount is zero.

If we change these terms in a significant way, we will update the date at the top and tell you inside the app or by email before the change takes effect. By continuing to use Ritora after that, you accept the new version.
